Our services

Process

If a death has occurred, please Inform us by calling (617) 606 2062.

We arrange for the remain to be picked up by a Licensed Funeral Director from the location of death.

Final Arrangements including Cemetery location, Washing & Shrouding & Janaza prayer are made in coordination with the Family.

Washing and Shrouding

Women are washed by women, and males by other men.
Our experienced team perform the ritual washing according to Islamic rituals.
Family and friends are welcomed to participate in the Washing.
The body is cleansed from right to left an odd number of times. then covered (wrapped) in three kaffan white fabric sheets, following the Sunnah.
The body is placed in a wooden tray for viewing and transportation.

Mosque Etiquette

Visitors to the mosque for prayer services should dress modestly.
Salat al-Janazah, the burial prayer, is frequently performed inside the carpeted Musalla at the mosque or at the cemetery (graveside Service) at the family’s discretion.
Attendants are expected to take off their shoes prior to entering the prayer space.
An Imam conducts the Janazah prayer.
